Laerdal Pocket Mask
This CE-marked pocket mask provides added safety in preventing mouth-to-mouth contact during CPR. The design supports the patient’s airway by combining moderate head tilt, jaw lift, and opening of the mouth.
The mask seals to the patient's face and allows a first aider to breathe through the one-way valve. Below the one-way valve is a filter which protects the first aider from airborne pathogens, liquids, and secretions.
The transparent dome design allows the first aider to check the patient's mouth for lip colour and secretions.
It is reusable and easy to clean with soapy water or disinfectant suitable for plastics. However, the filter must be discarded after each use. The one-way valve can be cleaned and reused for manikin training only, but must be discarded after single patient use.
Cordura® Pouch
The pouch can be worn on a belt. It uses a secure velcro closing and is made from durable, reliable, high-grade Cordura®.
