About this product

All necessary components for simple, effective delivery of Entonox®
Patients can self-administer the gas under supervision using a mouthpiece or face mask attached to a demand valve
Gas contained at a pressure of either 137 bar or 217 bar and delivered to the patient by connecting the cylinder to a demand valve via an internal or external pressure regulator.
Cylinders have a white and blue shoulder
Supplied in a hard-wearing blue barrel bag to protect contents on the move with ample room for extra equipment if needed.

Entonox® information

Entonox® is a gaseous analgesic agent composed of nitrous oxide and oxygen in equal proportions. It is widely used in the treatment of pain due to injury or caused by medical intervention, investigation or treatment.

Due to the low fat solubility of nitrous oxide, it does not accumulate late to any great extent within the body. Also, nitrous oxide is not metabolised by the body and will be eliminated completely by the lungs.

Entonox® CD or HX cylinders not included in this kit and are available from BOC Medical on 0800 111 333.
