Bunzl PLC and Healthcare have supported St John Ambulance by donating several treatment vehicles, including three bespoke mobile first aid units. The essential specialist triage clinic is driven to events and emergencies so that ‘walking wounded’ can be treated on site. The vehicle also doubles up as transport for our volunteers and equipment.

The partnership has also supported first aid training in schools, directed at young people in communities where they operate. During 2018-19, they supported us to equip over 2,000 school children with life saving skills.

Deloitte’s Milton Keynes office is supporting St John Ambulance by helping us to grow and sustain our range of school courses. These courses combine accessible content and practical demonstrations and are delivered to students with a diverse range of ages and abilities, helping them to feel more confident in how to deal with emergencies. Between 2016-19, their activity generated over £120,000-worth of first aid teaching which will be available to young people in the Milton Keynes area.

Deloitte were also able to provide strategic support to St John Ambulance by delivering pro-bono consultancy expertise, which included developing impact measurements and teaching through digital resources.

This partnership is helping to deliver Deloitte UK’s Responsible Business strategy, One Million Futures. Their goal is to help a million people get to where they want to be; whether it’s in the classroom, the workplace or the boardroom.

Laerdal Medical are long-time supporters of our annual Everyday Heroes awards, celebrating the nation's life savers and champions of first aid. They have also donated equipment for CPR Champion, enabling us to teach lifesaving CPR to communities across England in a friendly and fun way. This contributes to our ambitions to engage the public in first aid, and theirs to help save lives.

Sellafield Ltd are supporting St John Ambulance by raising up to £10,000. The donation will help provide equipment for our Cycle Response Unit in their local area.
