How does it work?

Every time you purchase a product on AmazonSmile, you can choose St John Ambulance to receive a donation of 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns, and shipping fees). Tens of millions of products are eligible for a donation.

  3. Select St John Ambulance if it appears, or search for it by typing St John Ambulance in the “Pick your own charitable organisation”. Select St John Ambulance from the results.

  4. Confirm that you will need to start shopping from smile.amazon.co.uk to ensure that your purchases are eligible. Tick the box next to the statement by clicking it. Then click “Start Shopping”.

  5. You will be redirected to the main Amazon homepage with confirmation that your eligible purchases will now support St John Ambulance. You are now signed up! 

Remember to visit smile.amazon.co.uk for your Amazon shopping so that all your eligible items raise donations for St John.

  1. Create a bookmark on your internet browser for AmazonSmile, or add to your favourites bar.
  2. Install the Amazon Assistant to make sure you don’t miss out on raising funds from your purchase. It is added to your Google search engine tool bar, you can click the icon to directly enter AmazonSmile where St John Ambulance will be shown as your supported charity.

  1. Join AmazonSmile - If you are not already an AmazonSmile member, sign up on your web browser. Simply select your favourite charity to start generating donations, at no cost to you.

  2. Download the latest version of the Amazon shopping app on your phone from the App Store or Google Play Store.

  3. Open the app and find ‘Settings’ in the main menu (press the = symbol). Select on ‘AmazonSmile’ and follow the on-screen instructions to turn on AmazonSmile on your phone.
