What you'll get up to

If you’re a healthcare professional, we need your help to provide specialist, clinical care, undertaking clinical assessments and attending to patients in pre-hospital situations.

Our professional clinicians mainly work in mobile treatment centres, ambulances or temporary event medical centres at events such as music festivals and sports matches.

Time commitment

Professional clinicians volunteer on average six hours per month, at evenings and weekends.

I’m a mum of three with a full time job, but volunteering doesn’t impinge on my social life at all – I enjoy it so much it doesn’t feel like a commitment. It gives me greater patient contact than in my regular job, and helps to fulfil my continual professional development requirement to stay registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. I love the variety of places I go when on duty, from football matches to the theatre.– Antoinette, Event Nurse
